HOW? They purchase red light, frame damaged cars cheaply auto auctions and then sell them on their lot. Most people cannot detect this damage, but a good inspection will reveal this defect.
AUTOCHECK? Most CarFax reports do not contain auto auction reports; however, AutoCheck does reveal some (not all) auto auction announcements. According to AutoCheck about 75% of West Coast Auto Mall cars have frame/unibody damage auction announcements.
WHY? Buying frame damaged cars is something not easily noticed to the untrained eye. Then they advertise prices below NADA value, say save thousands, and "full factory warranty". However, if it's too good to be true, then it probably is.
