Brilliant superfast service. Graham and Suzi couldn't have been more helpful. The guitar had to travel some distance and was carefully and beautifully packaged.

Sue " "keeps you in touch on the phone and checks all the stock in and out so you dont wait for your special acessories. never walk by this shop.it changes evey day THE ONE TO WATCH

This is the only music shop i know that still has a passion for customer service and aftercare service. The technical knowledge is second to none.
Graham and Sue obviously put a lot of time and effort into their business which reflects in their enthusiasm to get things right, satisfying the customer. Do not stop as we already have a music shop with the 'don't give a s**t attitude' in Brighton.
Any problems i have had, they have ALWAYS sorted without any fuss.

You won't find anyone better out there!

I'd support this shop simply because it's an independent business. I'd also support the shop because they listen and go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied, if not delighted.

However I do support and use this shop because it's the freakin' best around!

If you think you've had bad service from these people you either haven't listened or you have serious sociopathic tendencies. Get some help!

I buy guitars and gear from Badlands and nowhere else. Nuff said!

Badlands guitars ..the best guitar shop in Brighton and I've trolled through 'em all..
I bought, and still have, my guitar and amp from him beautifully set up and serviced, after weeks of going in and playing anything I fancied from his selection. Graham's always on hand with advise about new and vintage guitars (even to drummers!)..
So whoknows and others if you've a gripe what's your actual problem...Come on and fess up..

Badlands guitars is the best music shop in Brighton by far, the staff always have all the time in the world to chat with me and share their wealth of knowledge about guitars/effects/amps/etc, I never feel rushed or pressured.
Proper old-skool music shop run by enthusiastic, knowledgable, friendly and helpful staff - always where I reccommend people to go for instruments and repairs/spares.

I do not agree at all with the previous poster, or "whoknows". I've always had good, friendly service from Badlands, and the reason that most of these posts are anon, "whoknows", is because that is the default when you leave a comment here.

I have known Graham and Suzie for getting on for 4 years. Dealing with them is a pleasure both in buying and selling. They know the meaning of fair dealing in the fullest sense of the word.

My most recent purchase was a ukelele, and buying it tested Graham's patience simply because he spent ages making sure i bought the one I was most happy with.
Thank you both, and keep up the good work.

I have bought and sold stuff with Graham and Sue for several years now and always find them helpful and friendly, I always get a warm welcome when visiting their shop and they always have time for a chat, it's a nice relaxed place to checkout a few guitars without any nasty sales people hassling you, keep up the good work chaps! ( and Nick! LOL)

This is probably the hidden jewel of guitar shops in Brighton, and by gar, there's been a few!
I have always received friendly, polite service here, which is what one comes to expect in a family run shop.
Whether it be a pack of strings and a few guitar picks, to an full amplifier service, I have never had a bad experience here.
I recommend this great store to anyone who is fed up with surly, unhelpful staff, which sadly is all too common in most guitar shops.

Thanks for the uke advice and for supplying me with a uke better set-up and presented than anyone in a 50 mile radius could match. Good price too!

I thought that this level of customer service had died out, but I was happy to be proved wrong.

I have dealt with Graham and Suzy at Badlands for almost 5 years. I have bought and sold guitars through them. Graham is the most genuine guy I have ever met in an industry which has more than its fair share of whores. His advice, knowledge and integrity are first class. Deal with the rest at your peril!!

Dealing on line is always risky, but not with this store. They are trustworthy and helpful. Their products are the best. whether it be a new or used instrument, the service is the same. They value customer satisfaction far above any quick deal.
Their shipping charges are very reasonable and the items are checked for safety during transit.

I took in my American Deluxe Telecaster to have a humbucker put in to it with unusual pickup wiring and a full set up. The job was done brilliantly, was at a reasonable price and they also managed to sort out a problem with the angle of the neck that i thought was not possible Anyone in Brighton, I recommend using these guys for setups or anything like that.

I took my newly acquired slightly shabby '77 Fender Precision into Badlands for an overhaul. Not only did Graham set up the instrument beautifully (no buzzes anywhere anymore!) but he stripped it and deep-cleaned the paintwork (removed the nicotine stains on the white) so that it now looks, feels and plays like mint. All this for a very reasonable price and dealt with by an extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgable guy. I am very glad that I used Badlands and I highly recommend them to all!!

I have used Badlands in Brighton a couple of times for guitar repairs and purchases and have been very impressed with the helpful and personal service from Graham and Sue. You can take your time and try out instruments for as long as you like in peaceful surroundings under the expert guidance of Graham. On his advice I recently bought a Fairclough Sky Acoustic which is an amazing guitar for the price (around £220). Highly recommended. Thank you.

Very welcoming and friendly, you'll find that you feel right at home in the warm hearted environment as soon as you walk through the door... Extensive knowledge and advice on all things guitar, and also many other instruments, is happily shared by both Graham and Sue... Guitar set-ups, repairs and customisation in the workshop are great and excellent value for money! What I like the most is that if you need something that is not in stock or a non-standard item, Graham and Sue seem to go to the ends of the earth to try and source exactly what you are looking for.... Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed! Very competitive prices too! What more could you ask... Thanks guys!

What a pleasant shop! Extremely friendly and helpful service, I had my Fender Strat set up here and some wiring carried out and the guitar is now stunning, no other shop had managed to achieve this in the past, so hats off to Badlands!
This shop is most definately here for the player, and not just the profit.
