Dr. Berger and his staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center was truly amazing. My surgery was done Jan 2007 and i just gave birth to my son 08-08-11. Now i have three beautiful boys and loving being a parent.
If tubal reversal is something you are considering, i feel you should go meet Dr. Berger and his team. Read all his success stories and remember if its God's will for you and your family he will make it happen.

I cannot say enough about the fantastic experience I had during my time at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center! The entire staff, nurses, and doctors were fully knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. From my first contact with the center, until my recent follow-ups from surgery, I was completely satified with the care and courtesy I received. The procedure was quick and almost completely painless. Dr. Berger explained the entire surgery and answered all of my questions to my total satisfaction. I would absolutely recommend the center to anyone considering having tubal ligation reversal surgery done. It was absolutely worth it! I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience. My expectations were not only met, but exceeded.

From the instant we discovered Chapel Hill's website while researching tubal reversal, not once have we questioned our decision to see Dr. Berger, nor did we look any further. Chapel Hill TRC's site is easy to understand and accurate in every piece of information. We were treated with the utmost kindness and respect, and the staff are all extremely helpful in every aspect. They make the procedure as painless as possible, which turned out to be way better than I was anticipating. Less than one week post-surgery, I found myself not needing pain meds anymore. Not only was I, as the patient, made as comfortable as possible, my husband was treated equally well. Hello, I thank Dr Burger and his staff in my prayers all the time. At the age 22 I have already had 3 kids and married so I believe the Doc thought it was a good idea to tie my tubes well they not only tied them but burned them and said it would be impossible to concieve ever again. Well I remarried when I was 29 and he never had kids so I found Dr Burger and well he's blessed me with alittle girl now 2 yrs old. The surgery went smoothly and him and his staff took great care of me. I am so thankful to them for giving me another chance to be a mother and to make our family complete. I would definately reccomend Chapel Hill TR to anyone wanting to concieve again.

Dr Berger performed my reversal back in 2003 and since I have been blessed with two more beautiful healthy children. I often think of him and the staff there and am so very grateful and thankful that God has blessed his mind and hands with such great skills that allow women such as myself the ability to be blessed with children. I still keep in touch with pics and updated as they have given me the ability to complete my family. They still respond to communication with such love and humility. I would recommend him to anyone considering a TR.

My experience with Chapel Hill was extraordinary to say the least. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive to my needs before, during and after the procedure. Dr. Berger performed my surgery on 12/29/09 and I am now 4 months pregnant. Conception was achieved with no extra effort on our behalf. Dr. Berger is an amazing doctor and I would recommend him to anyone. I am very particular about any service I receive, therefore I did plenty of research. I had my surgery at Chapel Hill in Dec. 2009. I was a 40yr. old mom of three and was remarried 6yrs. ago. My husband and I wanted to try to have a child together. I searched the internet and Dr. Berger came up everywhere that I looked so I began to look into his website. Everything that is on Dr. Bergers website is exactly the way it is when you go there. He is a very nice person and obviously a very good Dr. I was pregnant by April 5th 2010! My son Matthew was born 11/17/2010 and now our lives are so much better. Thanks to Dr. Berger, his team and of course ... God. I recommend Chapel Hill and both Dr.s there to everyone that I've heard wants to have a reversal done. My tubal ligation was a cut and burn and this was 13yrs. ago. We are so glad that we made the trip to N.C.

After researching the Chapel Hill TRC, my husband and I decided to get my tubes reversed with Dr. Monteith - a very personable and knowledgeable physician - who has the ability to make you, as a patient, feel confident with your decision and comfortable with the procedure.
My surgery was May 5, 2009 and on January 5, 2011, my little blessing - Logan - was born. The amazing thing is that immediately following my surgery I got pregnant in June 2009 (ectopic), then again November 2009 (ectopic). We were so happy that we were actually able to get pregnant we kept praying and kept holding on to hope. Following an HSG in March 2010, I got pregnant a 3rd time in April 2010 and our son has finally arrived! I thank God for Dr. Monteith and the excellent staff at the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, because it is no one but God that has blessed both Dr. Monteith and Dr. Berger's hands to make so many dreams come true.

No place like it! The staff and Dr. Berger is great! I received my surgery on April 27th after having clips on tubes for 10 yrs! I was pregnant within a month but had miscarriage but become pregnant a week or so after! Currently 7 months pregnant with twins! I highly recommend Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal to anyone who wants a child!! They are da best!

Dr Berger and the whole staff at Chapel Hill were wonderful. We are so glad we decided to have our Tubal reversal with them and it was worth the trip from Germany, too. The reversal was done in October, I was pregnant in February, and now we are blessed with our precious one-year old son who is a delight to our whole family.

I did months of research before commiting to have Dr. Berger perform my procedure and I am so glad I did. Dr. Berger and his staff were wonderful! It took me a while to get pregnant because I did not follow the recommendation of using the ovulation predictors right away but once I followed the advise the nurses gave me I got pregnant within the month! My first pregnancy ended in a miscarrage which we handled well because we were given all the information we needed to understand that this was likely to happen, we were just happy to know we could at least get pregnant at that point. 2 months later I was pregnant again and the result was our perfect beautiful baby girl. She is 15 months old now and perfect in every way (although my husband says she is too smart for her own good! LOL) we just can"t thank Dr. Berger and his staff enough for the wonderful care they gave me. We are so happy we chose Dr. Berger and his staff.

Chapel Hill TR Center provides a standard of excellence that is rarely found in the medical profession. They truly go above and beyond to make sure that every detail of your care is considered. I had my TR in 2002 and they still continue to follow me by phone and email. I have had 2 TR sons. I have also had 2 m/c. I have always emailed Dr. Berger and would get responses as quickly as 15 minutes! You can check out their website and find so many questions answered. They have the same goal as you - to help you successfully hold another baby in your arms. They support you through everything to achieve that goal. They are absolutely the best!

They do not give you the option to rate Dr Berger and the staff at Chapel Hill as EXCELLENT!! I would have to say they are the best. I have had 4 babies since my reversal. If you are wanting to have a reversal I would highly recommend going to Dr Berger and his staff. They are caring and even after all this time has passed still keep in touch to see how things are.

Great place with the best doctors and the best nurses. I know about CHTRC since 2007 and I never heard any negative information about their services and their staff.

I had a wonderful experience at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. The staff and service was excellent. I was treated with respect and staff and Dr. Montieth took the time to listen to me and my concerns and fears. I used all the services on the website including transportation and hotel accommodations that were suggested. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We are so happy we found the center as we now celebrate with our newborn son. I highly recommend service from Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.

There is hope for those women with “short tubes”. My lengths are 2.25 and 4… What an absolute miracle! We are so happy to be holding our precious baby!!!

I did have 3 m/c's and one ectopic pregnancy but I would email with Dr. Berger and his nurses and they were so kind and gave me the direction I needed. Finally in December 2008 after thinking I would never get pregnant, we got a Christmas surprise. I emailed Dr. Berger right away and again he gave the direction I needed. In August 2009, I delivered Lanie Grace. Words cannot express how thankful I am to Dr. Berger and his staff for making her possible. In today's world we get so quick to decide we are done having children not knowing the path our life with take. Thankfully Dr. Berger is a caring and skilled doctor who can take that decision and change it to give us that miracle baby.

Dr. Berger and the WHOLE staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center are amazing people and the surgeries that are performed daily are incredible. People come from all over the world to have this surgery done and why, because the two doctors are very good at what they do and they are skilled in their work at repairing the damage done to the tubes. I had my reversal done in november 2008 and was pregnant in February of 2009 (had a miscariage in March) but we are actively trying until God says it's the right time and then he will bless us with a baby or babies, but without the skilled repair work that Dr. Berger performed on me, I wouldn't even be here on this website telling my story. I went 12 years without being able to conceive so I have all the time in the world now! You cannot let what ONE person says influence your own personal decision. Our decision was to put our trust into Dr. Berger's hands and he didn't let us down!

Perhaps if you simply posted your review, rather than attacking mine, you would sound like a non-employee. One post is talking about their policy with "dreams coming true" and yours gives commentary on our situation...which you should know nothing about.

For the record, I'm happy they were looking out for my wife's life and that they raised what might have been an issue big enough to cancel the appointment. We were completely caught off-guard with their immediate cancellation and, had we been thinking clearly, would have proposed exactly what we're saying now. Talk to our doctor, we'll get an updated test...let's make sure you have all the up-to-date and correct information before we cancel. That is their job and their part to honor the contract, but instead they just canceled basically stealing the fee.

And, for what it's worth, I wish you the best with your reversal. And I'm not trying to argue with you, just tired of all the "experts" on our situation.

What's hilarious and laughable (as someone stated) is for anyone to think these reviews are fake and not credible. My paycheck signed by Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center? I wish! It would be an honor to work with such a competent, successful, and honorable group of professionals. But for your information, I'm just a happy housewife who's thrilled to have been on of Dr. Berger's patients and blessed with a happy outcome (no baby yet just successful surgery and no more PTLS). Be happy that Dr. Berger and his staff care enough about the patients to put their health and welfare first. Not everyone can have surgery.

Pretending to be anonymous on this and other sites is pathetic and makes me wonder about the creditability of all the other reviews. I'm sure I could create fake names and email addresses to post "reviews" but watching these attempts at reviews is hilarious and hopefully other people can see your laughable reviews too.

I'm sure the reversal doctors are great, best in the country, but your anesthesiologist and office staff really screwed up in my dealing with you.

It seems if the anethesist decided it was too risky for a patient to have surgery because of prior medical records and speaking with the patient's doctor, then that patient's health was in the staff's best interest. It was no doubt very disapointing news, but the patient's welfare and the risk versus benefit were considered. Dr. Berger and his staff were very professional in my experience, and they did a complete review of the charts, blood work, and tests that were sent many weeks before surgery. They also do an ultrasound before surgery. Whatever came up in this case was probably not typical, yet it was acted upon with the patient's health being priority, and the decision was agreed upon by a group of professionals.

It seems to me that if the surgery had to be cancelled due to medical reasons than this makes sense. All one has to do is go to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversals website and it is written right there.

In reading the patient satisfaction reports there seems to be a whole lot of satisfied couples out there. Keep up the good work Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith you have made dreams come true!

Ms Julia's response below is typical of what my wife and I expect from the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center, only in our last 2 dealings they have resorted to blatant lies, most specifically a dealing with the Department of Justice. How can you lie to the Department of Justice?

The bottom line is the clinic never contacted either of our doctors and they are flat out lying in this post. If they had taken a moment to contact our doctors, they would have found there was no reason to cancel the procedure, but even if they still thought there was a concern, we would have accepted the terms of the contact we signed.

All we're suggesting is to be very careful in your dealings with them...you would think they'd do all the research they need to make an informed decision...and if they're so righteous, what are they completely lying now?

Unfortunately, there is little that can be written at this point to offset the comments that have been made by the reviewer. The post is listed from Anon, but we are very familiar with the poster at this point. Although our website and all of the patient documents clearly state that the $250ndeposit for surgery is non-refundable, the poster has now complained to the NC Medical Board, the Better Business Bureau and a number of internet sites because our office retained the non-refundable fee when surgery was cancelled. Our board certified anesthesiologist made the decision not to proceed with surgery after reviewing available medical records and speaking with the patient and the patient's doctors. At this point, we sincerely hope that the majority of readers realize that some people will be unhappy with our decisions regardless of our best intent, experience, and efforts.

I would say don’t expect the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center to do much, if any digging, into your prior medical conditions to help the process move forward. My wife had a procedure canceled literally 2 hours after a concern was raised. The staff never bothered to contact my wife’s doctors about the condition or suggested an updated test (the results they were working with was multiple years old). And the concern was about anesthesia, something my wife just had not 4 months before we scheduled this appointment. We have tried to resolve this matter directly with the Center and through mediators; they have been unwilling to work with us on the matter. The responses we have received started with statements that we signed a contract and have dissolved into blatantly making inaccurate statements that can easily be proven false with the documentation they attempt to use as proof for their untrue statements.
