Should you request a phone number or other information that is not on our database then you can leave your contact number with us and we will return your call within 5 to 10 minutes with the information that you need. It is that simple!

You can also email us at compassstar@btconnect.com Emails are checked on a daily basis so that messages can be dealt with as soon as possible.
Compass is like no other project that is available anywhere in the country (trust me, we’ve looked!) Our database is expanding all the time and we aim to make sure that all information and contact numbers will be relevant and up-to-date.
The project will reflect the cultural diversity of the local community in the variety of languages available and will be accessible to all sectors of the community, with emphasis on the under-represented and 'disadvantaged' groups. It also provides employment opportunities for users of the Star Centre.
For Hospital Workers and Doctors also, please feel free to contact us with your enquiries and we will do our utmost to assist you.
For all citizens of the borough who need contact numbers of organizations that can help with Mental Health Issues / Medical Services / Chemists / Emergency Services / Council Services / Benefits Advice / GP Surgeries / Local Clinics / Minority Group Services / Hospital Services / Transport Services, etc.. Please don’t hesitate to call us.

Breaking News:

We are now looking to expand the opening times of Compass and are going to extend the days on which Compass is going to operate. The Team that we have in place are doing so well that they are in a position to bring new people on board to this exciting project.

Admin Group

The Admin Group will cover many areas of the running of the Star Centre. This group enables service users to work alongside staff in helping to maintain an efficient and effective service. Those who are not used to using a computer or who wish to improve on their existing IT skills will find this group very helpful as it includes a wide range of IT-based activities, such as updating the website with new information as required, creating publications for the Centre, designing posters, etc. For those who find computers a little scary, there are also plenty of activities that do not involve using one! The work produced in the Admin Group can be used both at the Centre and forwarded on to other organisations to alert them of any upcoming events. Locations covered include hounslow, west london, feltham, middlesex, spelthorne, bedfont, brentford, isleworth, chiswick, twickenham, richmond, upon, thames, hayes, heathrow, heston, harlington, hanwell, heathrow, greenford, teddington, sunbury, ealing, staines, hampton, richmond upon thames, northolt, southall, twickenham, hillingdon, shepperton etc.

Self Developement Workshops

This group will aim to develop independence and social inclusion by providing a wide range of activities to boost self-esteem. Activities will include, for example, art, music and drama workshops to encourage self-confidence. We really encourage service users who have a particular skill –e.g. playing chess, knitting, speaking another language, etc. – to use these groups to share their skill with other service users! The theme will change every two weeks to ensure that every service user, according to their preference, is able to be included in what is a very dynamic and enjoyable programme.
