bootfair cancelled due to waterlogged field
organisers answered 1000 calls some missed i guess
will be back on in august when field dries outnearly every bootfair was off at the weekend
have some though for the organisers lost loads money and answering as many calls as they can
its a great boot sale and as soon as the ground dries up ill be back
after all you cant help the weather its a very disappointing time for all boot sales at mo-BRING THE SUN BACK!
I've just returned from the site (Sun 15 July) - a fruitless journey as the fair was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch. I tried several times to phone the advertised number to check beforehand - phone switched off! What is the point of giving a number for enquiries and then not answering it? The organisers are pathetic.
The notice outside the field is back advertising the boot fair again. Jolly good,I can give it a try now.
I shall be selling gift wrap, bows, greetings cards, bows and children's party table ware - all carefully chosen designs and good quality for a price you'll be hard pushed to match.
Too much fuss about not letting sellers getting set up.
You are kept in a queue for god knows why instead of being allowed to get straight to your pitch and getting other sellers. What a load of ***** that is. Every other boot fair I have sold at allows you to get straight to your pitch and get set up. This does not wash as the organisers mates are allowed straight on to their saved pitches so why not his none mates.
As for the buyers. It has taken me 30 minutes in the queue to get parked on more than one occassion, and again this is down to bad organisation.
