SAFERiDE Motorcycle Training

Saferide Motorcycle Training School is based in right in the centre of Brighton although we cover Most of Sussex from Worthing to Eastbourne as well as Lewes, Uckfield, Burgess Hill, Hayawrds Heath, Steyning & Storrington! Saferide is owned and run by me, Nathan, well OK I do all the instructing but to be honest it's my good wife Lee who truly runs thing; the benefits of being marrried to a top class business administrator & accounting technician I guess! So you can see we're a small family run business, looking to give affordable quality training.

I'm a true Brightonian, born & breed! Other than a few years in my teens when I lived In Spain, I've lived in the Brighton area all my life. Over the course of the past 20 years I've worked in a variety of jobs, travelling all over the south east. So whatever it is you need to know about riding a motorbike, then I know just the place to practice.
My own riding career started some 24 years ago when I was just 12! To cut a long story short, I kept nagging my parents until they caved in and let me have a motorbike for riding "off road". Does anyone remember the old chalk pits on the A23, before they widened the road? Well that's where I spent every spare minute I had riding.

Anyway, I passed my full motorcycle test way back In 1993, that's 16 years to date, accident free! (touch wood) The day I passed my test I bought the bike my instructor had been riding. So that would be me changing from an old SuzukI GP100 to a BMW K100RT, 1000cc touring bike, as was being used by the police at the time and the next day I had a job as a motorcycle despatch rider!
So why dId I become an instructor?

Well I'm no saint! I focus all my efforts on Road Safety nowadays. In my invincible youth I rode in a manner that to be honest, well let's just say I'm lucky to be here and now I would very much like to help people not become another statistic in the motorcycle obituaries.

If you're looking for a motorcycle instructor with a friendly disposition, a good sense of humour and a willingness to listen to all your needs, then Saferide Motorcycle Training School is the first & last place to call.
