          Home Information Packs (HIPS) in Egham (Surrey)

The Home Information Pack (often named HIP) is a mandatory requirement for the majority of home that are placed on the market in England and Wales. Additional changes that have recently beem implemented means that from the 6th April 2009 the Home Information Pack will be a requirement prior to the property being placed on the market.


So what is in the HIP?

Basically the HIP contains a number of documents that provide the prospective property buyer with specific information relating to the individual property. The HIP must be provided by either the seller or his appointed agent. As previously mentioned it is a legal requirement to have a HIP ready prior (or at the time) to the property being placed on the market.
