What is a MiSpa party?
Think of home presentations you've been to before: Tupperware, Jamie at Home, Pampered Chef...all fun, all showing you great products with unique features. Well, a MiSpa party brings the Spa to you: the host enjoys a facial, or a pedicure or handcial, or nominates one of her guests. During the facial, everyone is welcome to join in, trying the miessence products on themselves or applying them on their friends - just like any other girls' night in! There's a whole range of spa treats to discover, from gorgeous cleansers, skin conditioners and moisturisers to masks, serums, treatment gels and hydrating mist. All miessence products are handcrafted with natural and certified organic ingredients, each selected to benefit your skin, right down to the antioxidants used to preserve the products in the bottles.

About Your Independent Representative
Hi, I'm Marianna Barber, independent representative for ONE Group (Organic & Natural Enterprise Group) the Australian company that created the world's first certified organic range of health and beauty products, including skin care, hair care and superfoods. Certifed organic means the products haven't had a brief encounter with a whiff of an organic oil and then been formulated in the usual way with chemicals and other undesirable goo, to be sold off the shelf with an "organic" claim on the label. Certified organic means the product contains at least 95 percent organic ingredients, that comply with stringent international standards that cover all aspects of the processing chain to ensure that the organic integrity is maintained from seed, growing, harvesting, storage, transporting and processing through to the finished product.

Why did I become involved with ONE Group? Because as well as being organic, the products are completely free of synthetic chemicals, chemicals that are implicated in so many chronic health problems in today's society, including hormonal imbalance, depression, asthma, allergies , attention deficit disorders, and cancer. Chances are you know someone affected by some of these conditions: I certainly do. Imagine my excitement when I discovered that I could use completely safe products on my skin and my family's skin. I could totally bypass the usual compromise of "sort of natural" skin care and use something that does no harm, feeding our skin directly with vitamins and the goodness of certified organic aloe vera, which has long been used for its skin healing properties. I knew I was on the right track when our teenage daughters asked me if they could use the skin care too, as they liked the scent of the essential oils so much. Our son, aged seven, asks me to rub his back with the baby lotion at bedtime. We're on to a good thing...

Why did I decide to become a representative? I already had a home-based business, with a catalogue company. So I knew how a network marketing business can grow, how it's flexible and fits around the family and other commitments. My interest in organics has been long-standing, starting way back with my mum being on a macrobiotic diet when she was expecting me! As for experience in my own family's memory, ten years ago, when our daughter was two years' old, she developed a cow's milk intolerance and was covered in eczema. The doctor instructed us to switch to soy milk, and told us our older daughter, who was then five, should be given organic cows' milk and organic dairy products to avoid the synthetic hormones that can lead to girls starting puberty too early...it's been a steady road towards an organic way of life ever since. And so the opportunity to combine a business with my interest and commitment to good organic living was simply the obvious thing to do. Of course I checked the credentials of ONE Group - and discovered a company dedicated to green, ethical business practices, including sourcing fair trade ingredients; offsetting the carbon emissions of worldwide delivery through Greenfleet, a non-profit tree planting organisation; and sourcing local wind-powered electricity, claiming zero emissions from their manufacturing.
