This guy David Weber of Megaw & Hogg Adelaide is just a small time thief, he’s stolen from my sister’s estate. The good news is that I have found his weak spot, his communications are very basic and easy to disrupt, if everyone who he owes money to works together we should be able to close him down. Just call him several times a day every weekday between 9-5 ACST.

Technically this is actually a ‘Distributed Denial of Service Attack’, but absolutely legal because the creep owes you money, you’re calling for a legitimate reason during business hours, there’s nothing he can do about it! If he doesn’t answer make sure you leave a message on his voicemail or answering machine anyway, he has to listen to them at least.

David Weber has finally paid me some money and my advice is to file a civil claim through the magistrate court ASAPand contact Frank Pangallo from "Today Tonight" in Adelaide. He is a bottom feader and scumbag...... its your money!

This guy is lower than a snake's belly. One of the most deceptive and dishonest persons I've ever dealt with. He has nothing to do with the true Megaw and Hogg antiques business and simply trades on their good ethical reputation. At least I managed to recover some of the money owed. It was scheduled for court but he paid up some of the funds the day before the case.

I have had dealings with David Weber in recent months in an attempt to recover monies owed. He is evasive, cunning, and deceitful. I did manage to recover a portion of what was owed, but only via an "out of court settlement" the day before his day in court. I suspect he is deep in debt and simply uses recent sale proceeds to pay outstanding debts from many months earlier. He is most likely insolvent. He has no connection with Megaw and Hogg Antiques but simply trades on their good name and reputation. Every dog has its day, and his day will come.

David Weber sold an antique of mine 18 months ago and still has not paid me. The Police are treating it as theft so I am interested to here from anyone who wants to join the fight to have him bought to justice.

My name is Juie White. I too have had a nasty experience with David Weber. He was to auction a considerable quantity of items for me. Some were antiques. the auction was due to be held on March 31st 2010. I have relocated to the U.S. and after numerous attempts to contact David have had NO response. I have not received payment for the sale of my goods. I would be interested in hearing from others who have experienced any business, good or bad, with Mr. Weber. A similar story...items have been sold and no money ever appeared. David Weber avoids all contact and we shall be contacting the fraud squad. Anyone else treated similarly should take similar action as he continues to operatewithout penalty.

Our family has had a very bad experience with this Company which has still not been resolved. On the 30/4/09 we left household goods and furniture with David Weber to auction. We are waiting on paperwork and unsold items to be returned to us. The biggest problem is you can never contact him and every time I phone him (which is every week day) I have to leave a message on his answering machine. He never returns these calls and has made no attempt to finalise this matter. The items left with him were from a deceased estate and this estate cannot be wound up because of Mr Webers' unprofessional and questionable business ethic. I would advise anyone who is thinking of using this Company to look elsewhere and would be interested in hearing from anyone who has had a similar experience with above mentioned person
