Kentucky School is a fantastic small school. It has a real sense of school spirit & the children are friendly and welcoming. It is like a big family and newcomers are welcomed. Being such a pretty school and area, with such lovely kids, it attracts good teachers.
The children participate in many social, sporting, academic & musical events, including performing at the Sydney Opera House on the Mirimbas (an African instrument).
The teacher at Kentucky School, Danny Spillane, has won national awards for excellence and the high quality teaching staff combined with a strong
P & C has meant the school has gone from strength. I would recommend it as the perfect place for a safe, enjoyable and quality primary school education. |
